Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Manage and configure firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or administration.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection (e.g., CrowdStrike).
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (if applicable).
