Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and lead forensic analysis
- Develop/implement threat detection rules and playbooks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening initiatives
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and reports
- Stay current on emerging threats and countermeasures
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity analysis or related role
- Certification (CISSP, CEH, or Security+)
- Expertise in threat detection and incident response
- Experience with SIEM tools and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell)
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Security or equivalent experience
