Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalous activities
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Develop incident response playbooks and lead security breach remediation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks
- Generate executive security reports and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
- Manage firewall configurations and network segmentation policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM tools
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and risk assessment
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks
