Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and implement security protocols aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance endpoint security and threat prevention
- Generate detailed incident reports and executive security dashboards
- Lead security awareness training for cross-functional teams
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat detection, forensics, and security automation
- Proficiency with security frameworks (NIST, CIS, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to prioritize critical incidents
