Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using diagnostic tools and resolve connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats and vulnerabilities
- Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new technologies and solutions
- Conduct regular network audits and performance optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in network administration and infrastructure support
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required (CCNP preferred)
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network equipment
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Texas driver's license for occasional on-site visits
