As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you'll monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents across complex cloud and network environments. Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec) to detect and investigate security incidents
- Lead incident response activities including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Perform threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Provide security awareness training to employees and leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in SOC operations
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
