Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Analyze threat intelligence feeds to proactively identify emerging attack vectors
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR solutions)
- Document security incidents and prepare executive-level incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in threat detection tools (Splunk, Darktrace, CrowdStrike)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IAM controls
- Experience with forensic analysis tools (EnCase, FTK Imager)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
