Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses to identify system weaknesses.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT engineering teams to design and implement robust network security controls.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training to educate employees on best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies.
- Proven experience with incident response procedures and forensic analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
