Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform cable termination (fiber and copper) and rack-and-stack server equipment.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues for end-users.
- Document network changes and maintain accurate technical records.
- Assist in the deployment of new network solutions and VoIP systems.
- Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support to internal staff and clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred (but not mandatory).
- CompTIA Network+ certification is a plus, but we provide paid training to help you get certified.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, and networking protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to complete the provided training program.
