Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyberattacks
- Create detailed security documentation and compliance reports (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
- Expertise in threat detection and forensics tools (Wireshark, EnCase)
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS Security Hub, Azure Sentinel)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and attack vectors
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 security operations
