Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events via SIEM tools to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate, contain, and remediate security breaches and incidents with minimal downtime.
- Configure, maintain, and tune firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal security policies and external regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
- Generate and present detailed security reports to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security architectures.
- Experience with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, or CrowdStrike.
- Strong analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving abilities.
