Responsibilities
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting, containment, and forensic analysis
- Design and implement advanced security controls (SIEM, EDR, firewalls) across hybrid environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop comprehensive security documentation (policies, playbooks, reports)
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives
- Monitor emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+ required)
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
