We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security operations team in Charlotte, NC. You will act as a guardian of our digital infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical data systems. You will work closely with our full-time team during peak monitoring windows and weekends to detect, analyze, and respond to security threats.

Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) dashboards for real-time alerts and anomalous behaviors.
- Conduct thorough log analysis and triage security events to determine the scope of potential incidents.
- Execute incident response procedures to contain and neutralize threats effectively.
- Perform regular vulnerability scanning and penetration testing support.
- Configure and maintain security controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and access management.
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT staff to patch systems and mitigate identified weaknesses.
Qualifications
- Certification required: Security+, CEH, or CISSP (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and common network protocols.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, CrowdStrike, Sentinel) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends, as required by shift rotation.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Clearance to work in the United States without sponsorship.
