Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-prem systems
- Develop/implement security protocols for network, endpoint, and application layers
- Collaborate with IT teams to remediate critical security gaps
- Generate executive-level security reports and risk mitigation strategies
- Stay current with emerging threats (APT, ransomware, zero-day exploits)
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR technologies
- Hands-on experience with threat hunting and incident response
- Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
