Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead incident response operations for zero-day attacks and APT campaigns
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud/on-premise infrastructure
- Develop security automation frameworks using Python and PowerShell
- Maintain compliance with NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and CMMC standards
- Mentor junior analysts and create security awareness training materials
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/IR operations
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
- Expertise in MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting methodologies
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure security services and network security tools
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
