- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate security breaches and manage incident response procedures effectively.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform regular audits of network architecture and endpoint security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or CEH.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
