Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with network teams on firewall and IDS/IPS configurations
- Provide threat intelligence briefings to executive stakeholders
- Manage security compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience in SOC operations
- Certification (CISSP, Security+, or GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in threat detection and incident response
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and cloud security
- Experience with security automation (Python, PowerShell)
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts
