Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced threat detection and incident response for SOC operations
- Lead vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise networks
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Monitor SIEM platforms and respond to critical security alerts
- Document security incidents and provide executive-level reporting
- Mentor junior analysts on emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity/IT or 5+ years relevant experience
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Proven incident response handling for ransomware/phishing attacks
- Ability to work rotating shifts for 24/7 SOC coverage
