Responsibilities
- Lead security incident response investigations and remediation for enterprise-level threats
- Implement and optimize SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for 24/7 threat monitoring
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture across cloud/on-prem environments
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities through continuous research
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and NIST frameworks
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
