The Role:
We are looking for an experienced individual to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents. You will be instrumental in developing our threat intelligence strategies and ensuring compliance with global security standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct detailed forensic analysis of security incidents and lead the incident response process to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks aligned with industry standards (NIST, ISO).
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to proactively identify system weaknesses.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends to recommend proactive mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or a similar SOC role.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and threat hunting.
- Strong understanding of encryption standards, authentication mechanisms, and access control models.
