Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures to protect enterprise systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network environments
- Lead incident response for security breaches including forensic analysis
- Develop security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry standards
- Monitor SIEM tools and analyze threat intelligence to proactively detect anomalies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Mentor junior security staff and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys) and penetration testing
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance (must be US citizen)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts
