Responsibilities
- Lead threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and incident response for enterprise environments
- Design and implement advanced security controls including SIEM tuning, EDR, and network segmentation
- Conduct penetration testing and red team exercises to identify system weaknesses
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks
- Mentor junior analysts and develop security automation scripts
- Generate executive-level security reports and risk mitigation roadmaps
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on threat detection/response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Expertise in Azure/AWS security services and Palo Alto Networks firewalls
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
