Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and FireEye.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewall policies and network security architectures to protect against unauthorized access.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with NIST and ISO frameworks.
- Collaborate with development and IT operations teams to integrate security best practices into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Lead post-incident reviews and prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Certification such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of threat intelligence, malware analysis, and incident response methodologies.
- Proficiency with security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
