Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead incident response coordination for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop security automation workflows using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) for critical infrastructure
- Provide mentorship to junior security analysts and document security protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network segmentation
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for security automation
- Experience with GRC tools (RSA Archer, ServiceNow)
- Ability to maintain Top Secret clearance (if applicable)
- Proven track record of reducing MTTR by 40%+
