Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Manage and configure network security appliances, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, coordinating with legal, IT, and executive teams.
- Enforce and audit compliance standards such as NIST, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in information security or a related role.
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows, and networking protocols (TCP/IP).
- Proficiency with security tools like Splunk, Wireshark, and Snort.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
