Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement, maintain, and enforce information security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and development teams to ensure secure configuration of networks and applications.
- Perform forensic log analysis and incident investigations in the event of a security breach.
- Stay abreast of the latest threat intelligence and security trends to recommend proactive measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or similar).
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
