We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, you will be instrumental in protecting our infrastructure from sophisticated cyber threats, conducting deep-dive threat hunting, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts from SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to identify, investigate, and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough incident response investigations, including root cause analysis, forensic analysis, and remediation of security breaches.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to proactively identify weaknesses in network architecture.
- Develop, maintain, and update security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to implement secure coding practices, patch management, and secure network configurations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and junior security personnel.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network administration.
- Active certification such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC is strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS, HTTP, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and threat hunting.
- Experience with SIEM tools, EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), and firewall management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex security problems under pressure.
