Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Investigate security incidents and develop incident response plans.
- Configure and manage firewalls, anti-malware, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations (SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement secure network architectures.
- Provide security awareness training to staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or LogRhythm).
- Experience with network security protocols and encryption standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
