Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Lead incident response efforts, conducting thorough investigations and root cause analyses to mitigate cyber risks and prevent recurrence.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity frameworks and policies aligned with NIST, ISO, and HIPAA standards.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify system weaknesses and remediate them proactively.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or information security analysis.
- Proven experience with security tools such as FireEye, CrowdStrike, or similar endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
