Responsibilities
- Oversee 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring and threat detection
- Lead incident response investigations for malware, ransomware, and APT attacks
- Develop and implement zero-trust architecture and NIST compliance frameworks
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize security automation workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with SOC analyst or incident response experience
- Certified CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Expert (GSE) required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Advanced knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat hunting
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence feeds
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Proven ability to lead complex breach investigations and remediation
- Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one
