Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches with 24/7 rotation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for cloud/on-prem environments
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks for hybrid infrastructure
- Author comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness across departments
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in enterprise cybersecurity operations
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certifications (required)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and containerization
- Proven experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Familiarity with GDPR/HIPAA compliance frameworks
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
