Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, Azure Sentinel) to detect and respond to anomalies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in network infrastructure.
- Lead and coordinate incident response activities, ensuring rapid containment and recovery from cyber attacks.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training for employees to foster a culture of security.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement security controls within the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience of 4+ years in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or incident response.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation and tool development.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex technical findings to stakeholders.
