Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and security systems (SIEM) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security gaps.
- Lead incident response efforts, including forensics analysis and system remediation.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Develop, update, and enforce security policies, procedures, and employee training programs.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
