Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Lead incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery procedures for security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement secure coding practices and infrastructure.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
