Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents via SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to ensure 24/7 threat detection.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and execute forensic investigations.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden network infrastructure.
- Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or network defense.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
