Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Lead incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery from cyber attacks.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure network infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell) or automation tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
