Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Develop and maintain Incident Response (IR) plans and playbooks to ensure business continuity.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
- Lead security awareness training sessions for employees to reduce human error risks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, SSCP, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for security automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
