Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct advanced threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud environments (AWS/Azure)
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field + 4+ years cybersecurity experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Expertise in threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant/Recorded Future)
- Hands-on experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike/Carbon Black)
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks and PCI-DSS compliance
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation scripting
- TS/SCI clearance preferred
