Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure optimal uptime and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, operations, and security to define cloud strategy and best practices.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Drive the migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in AWS or Azure services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and cloud security frameworks (e.g., CIS Benchmarks).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
