Responsibilities
- Design and deploy resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining high availability and performance standards
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions for automated deployments
- Lead cloud migration projects from on-premises to public/hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and enforce cloud security frameworks and compliance standards
- Monitor cloud systems using tools like Datadog/New Relic and troubleshoot incidents
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/Azure certifications
- Expertise in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and automation experience
- Proven track record of designing secure, cost-effective cloud architectures
- Experience with cloud migration strategies and multi-cloud environments
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VPCs, load balancers, DNS)
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives
