Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable cloud solutions primarily on AWS and Azure.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation to manage infrastructure lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
- Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot complex cloud-native issues to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with software developers and DevOps teams to integrate cloud services into application development.
- Enforce security best practices, governance policies, and compliance standards (SOC2, HIPAA) across cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) or Microsoft Azure.
- Expert knowledge of containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, or Prometheus.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are highly preferred.
