Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP using Terraform and IaC best practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) to automate software delivery and deployment.
- Implement robust security protocols, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance monitoring (SOC2, HIPAA).
- Optimize system performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability through continuous monitoring and tuning.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery standards.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps and SRE teams to drive infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in AWS (or Azure/GCP) with deep understanding of VPCs, Lambda, and RDS.
- Expertise in containerization technologies: Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
- Strong understanding of network security, VPNs, and load balancing architectures.
