Orbit Creative is seeking a visionary Senior 2D Motion Designer to elevate our digital storytelling. In this role, you will craft fluid, high-fidelity animations that define brand identities and engage audiences across global platforms.
We are looking for a technical artist who understands the intersection of design and engineering. You will work closely with our creative directors and developers to deliver pixel-perfect motion assets that drive conversion and brand loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Design and produce professional 2D motion graphics for web, mobile, and social media campaigns.
- Create character rigs and vector animations using industry-standard software like Adobe After Effects and Illustrator.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate client briefs into compelling visual narratives.
- Optimize animation sequences for performance and compatibility across various devices and browsers.
- Maintain and update a library of reusable motion assets and templates.
- Conduct quality assurance on animation outputs to ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation and motion graphics design.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong understanding of 2D rigging, keyframing, and timing and spacing principles.
- A robust portfolio showcasing diverse animation styles and character work.
- Experience with vector animation tools (e.g., Adobe Animate) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present creative concepts to stakeholders.
