Responsibilities
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities for Texas-based retail and healthcare clients
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI to visualize KPIs and business metrics
- Develop SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical frameworks
- Prepare concise reports and presentations with actionable recommendations
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation and quality checks
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging analytics technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of hands-on data analysis experience with SQL, Excel, and visualization tools
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) or R for statistical analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or data warehouse systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote environment
- Portfolio demonstrating previous data analysis projects (required)
