Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical control systems
- Lead research on quantum supremacy benchmarks and performance metrics
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at international conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF, DOE, and DARPA grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD students in quantum computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with quantum algorithm development (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, cloud)
