Responsibilities
- Execute Comprehensive Testing: Design and execute detailed manual and automated test scripts to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA and Bugzilla, providing clear reproduction steps and severity assessments.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues, review code, and implement fixes efficiently.
- Regression Testing: Perform rigorous regression testing on new releases and updates to verify fixes and prevent future bugs.
- Test Planning: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data based on business requirements and user stories.
- Requirements Analysis: Analyze functional specifications to understand system behavior and edge cases.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance testing.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python or JavaScript).
- Automation Tools: Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
- Agile/Scrum: Experience working in an Agile development environment with a strong understanding of Scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
