Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, antivirus, and IDS/IPS.
- Develop and maintain Incident Response (IR) plans and playbooks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure network architecture.
- Generate security reports and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT role.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and SOAR platforms.
- Experience with network security concepts, protocols, and devices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
