Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects
- Document bugs and track resolution in JIRA with clear severity levels
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
- Participate in agile sprint planning and retrospectives
- Create detailed test plans for new features and updates
- Analyze test results to improve quality assurance processes
- Perform regression testing on cross-platform applications
Qualifications
- 2+ years of QA testing experience with web/mobile applications
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (manual, automated, regression)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication for bug reports
- Experience with cross-browser testing (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
- Flexible availability including occasional evenings/weekends
- Basic knowledge of SQL or scripting (Python/JavaScript)
