Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications to ensure functionality and user experience.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) with high accuracy and detailed reproduction steps.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to validate application behavior across different browsers and devices.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and provide timely feedback during the QA process.
- Conduct regression testing and smoke testing to ensure recent code changes do not introduce new bugs.
- Analyze root causes of software defects and suggest improvements to the testing process.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience as a QA Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies and at least one automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Experience with SQL for database verification and querying.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
