Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality
- Document detailed bug reports using JIRA with clear steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual outcomes
- Perform regression testing on new features and bug fixes across web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with Agile development teams during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and improve user experience
- Participate in daily stand-ups and provide clear updates on testing progress and blockers
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing within Agile environments
- Proficiency with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle
- Experience with functional, regression, and smoke testing techniques
- Familiarity with SQL for database validation and test data management
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for documenting defects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience testing web applications and responsive designs
